| Her love of music was apparent at a young age and her curiosity and ingenuity would propel her far beyond the harmonic borders of contemporary music. Originally intent on a career in physics, JJ dramatically altered her career path and decided that her true love was one of music, while playing keyboards in a rock band. Soon after taking private lessons in traditional composition with some of the top professors, JJ was quickly enticed by the sounds of Jazz. She then decided to attend Berklee College of Music where she would study Jazz composition and arranging. With its emphasis on individuality and creativity, the school's curriculum offered JJ the opportunity to fully engage her inquisitive nature. After graduating Berklee, She moved to LA where she is currently writing and arranging music for TV and film. Recently, at the 2007 Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco, California, her music was chosen as the winner of the Game Audio Network Guild competition. Her music has been influenced by many greats including John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, and John Debney. |

As the grandson of Fire House Five Plus Two trombonist, and Disney animator Ward Kimball (imdb), he was always surrounded by music and entertainment. He started playing the piano at the age of 6. At age 10 he sang background vocals for John Denver in the internationally televised show, Earth 90. By the end of High School he was determined to pursue a career in music. After leaving the dust of adolescence behind, he became fascinated with Jazz music, especially the likes of Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and Oliver Nelson. In 1999 he formed his own Jazz Band, Blue Horizons. Soon after, he opted for a more formal training in music, and found his way to Berklee College of Music where he earned a dual major degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and Music Business. Following the completion of his studies at Berklee, he moved out to Los Angeles, where he currently writes music for TV, Film, and Video Games. Recently, he was named one of the 10 semi-finalists for the Turner Classic Movies 8th Annual Young Film Composers Competition.
